Ticket To K !!!

A long weekend is awaiting us. For the first time I have three days off at a stretched. As always I had plans and this time it was suppose to be a trip to campus, plans initiated by KShah. However, Amar Sam and Bhawna had plans of coming down to Bangalore, thus all of us could throw a party for some special person who was going to London this month, so the plan of going to campus got cancelled. Anyway, we'd have a bash in Bangalore and that's what I was looking forward to. Alas! As expected, the bitches cancelled the trip to Bangalore this tuesday and all our plans went down the drains......

Wednesday I decided that I cannot stay here all by myself for three long days, so I took a break from my work and off I went to Kalasi Palayam to look for a bus, all this after a desperate search for a ticket from every possible source from Les Concierges to friends' contacts. There was nothing available given that everyone was travelling for the long weekend. The bus people in Kalasi Palayam quoted the ticket fare for more than double. I simply laughed at them and they laughed along with me and finally we struck a deal for Rs.450/-. The guy handed the ticket over the counter and says "Madam, I am giving this ticket for less price to you just because you are a STUDENT."

I smiled to myself and walked away with a ticket happy that finally I have something to do for the weekend as I told myself, "sometimes it works out to your advantage"!!!

If you need to book tickets in the future, then this bit of information should help: both Kallada and PK Travels have offices in Madiwala, which is much closer to home. You won't have to wade through Kalasipalyam in order to get a ticket to K.

Have a great weekend!

Hey, thanks for the info. My office is very close to Kalasipalayam though, which is why I went there.

I've had a wonderful weekend, thank you!
